COVID hospitalization 34% higher for Vaxxed vs. Unvaxxed
According to small government data nugget from Canada
As you may have noticed, useful government COVID data is becoming scarce. In response I’ve been scouring the internet trying to scavenge something meaningful. The initial result is a little nugget of interesting data from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit in Ontario, Canada (pop. ~550,000).
This relatively small but revealing data set is the “Weekly Counts and Rates (per 100,000) of New Hospitalizations, by Vaccination Status at Time of Illness.” I downloaded the data and created the chart shown below.
Based on this data set, since May 29 of this year the vaxxed were on average 34% more likely to be hospitalized due to COVID than the unvaxxed. It’s important to note that this data is standardized (rates per 100,000) so the comparison is not skewed by the fact the majority of people have been vaxxed. It should also be noted that people who have been vaxxed with one dose are lumped in with the unvaxxed. This being the case, if the jabs actually increase risk as the data implies then the single jabbed are probably misleadingly narrowing the gap (i.e. the unvaxxed might be doing even better although it’s hard to beat zero which is the unvaxxed count for the last two weeks).
My intent is to post only when I have something to share that I think adds value to the greater conversation. What do you think? Is this a valuable data point?
I can never understand this BS about including “1 dose” with “unvaccinated”. Or that if you were injected it does not count until exactly 14 days have elapsed?!Absolute rubbish! As soon as the contents of that syringe are injected into you ..... you ARE vaccinated period!
They aren’t called Clot-Shots for nothing!
